School Medicaid Lunchinars

The deadline is approaching for states to come into compliance with the CMS guidance listed in  “Delivering Services in School Based Settings: A Comprehensive Guide to Medicaid Services and Administrative Claiming” (released in 2023).  It's July 1!!  

Also in this update, CMS introduced several “flexibilities” for states to consider adopting in their School Medicaid programs. These are options that States can select to ease administrative burdens on LEAs and school-based health care providers when furnishing and seeking payment for school-based services.

In this lunchinar, we’ll review the upcoming compliance deadline and some of these flexibilities and discuss the potential impacts at the state, LEA, and even billing company levels.
